There She Blows

Wednesday, August 31, 2005
Well I have weathered my first hurricane. The wind blew a little and things were fine. Ha. It was more like thw wind blew at 90 mph for a good two or three hours with gusts over 100 and then it started slowing down very slowly but was still blowing at about 30 at 10:30 monday night. It was at first a little terrifying and then I was fascinated by it all at the same time. Thankfully everyone here is safe but I really feel bad for all those people over in Miss and Louisiana. I do not have time now to type alot. Just wanted to let my few faithful readers know that I am ok.

Good News, Bad News

Tuesday, August 16, 2005
Well first the good news. Sunday night after church one of our newcomers in the youth group went home and he started talking to his parents about accepting Christ and then they had the oppurtunity to pray with him to accept Christ. It is really good to know that GOd is still working. The bad news is that after almost a year I have started back to school. Technically it is a good thing but it is really hard to go back after that long. I really admire all those people who go back to school after being out for like twenty. Anyway God is really doing some good stuff down here and I appreciate all of your prayers and support. It is hard to believe that I have been here for nine months already and hopefully I will be here for a lot longer.
